Sold as set of two chairs and ottoman. Fully and expertly restored pair of Coconut Chairs and single Ottoman designed by the George Nelson office in 1956 for Herman Miller. These are the never reproduced second generation from the 1960s featuring a slightly thicker leg construction that terminates at the metal shell on the underside of the chair. One of the most comfortable and iconic chairs from the mid century modern movement. The chairs were stripped to the frame and restored to the original specifications with new foam padding and high quality orange vinyl like the originals. Side note: This is Rod's, our owner's, favorite modern chair. Super comfortable and stunning from every angle.
