‘Apollo’ chair designed by Leonnart Bender for the Charlton Company (Leominster, MA) for their Century 21 collection, Model No.150 c.1970s. Similar in style to designs by Milo Baughman. Heavy duty, very high quality, curvilinear chromed steel framework. Large scale (see dimensions). This is not a rocking chair. It sits in a very stable and comfortable manner. A striking and unusual design.
Good condition. Minor wear to the chrome frame. Canvas cushions and slings are clean and sturdy, with areas of fading. Foam is good.
