Very rare and desirable sofa Model 5316 designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar, 1950s. This completely original example is in very good condition. No tears, holes or stains to the orange fabric and very little signs of use to the mahogany frame and aluminum cross stretchers. The foam has hardened over the years so the new owner will likely want to replace the foam or reupholster the sofa. We have been in business for 27 years, have had dozens of Dunbar sofas, but never Model 5316, thought by many to be Wormley's best sofa design. The mahogany is stunning. The subtle angled arms and back are sublime. Truly an iconic mid century modern design. This is a rare opportunity to own this design masterpiece.
